Every now and then you get a guitar, you pick it up and immediately feel at home. This is also the case with this lime green '57 Strat, a special order from Musikhaus Hermann and the result of a collaboration between masterbuilder Dale Wilson and Jörg Hermann. Phenomenal finish in “Lime Green” with a Heavy Relicing that has placed the playing marks exactly where they belong. The perfect neck (.830'' to .930'') with “60 Style Oval C” profile, 9.5'' fretboard radius and 0155 frets with rolled fretboard edges is super comfortable in the hand and feels like a really comfy sneaker with its lacquer-free back. And the positive impression continues with the sound. The enormously resonant basic character of the guitar is transmitted to the amp in the best possible way by the “Handwound 57” pickups on the neck and in the middle as well as the slightly more hotly wound “Handwound Fat 50's” on the bridge (including 1/2 blend with “Tone Saver Treble Bleed” and RWRP to suppress noise). The sound is extremely fat and round, ...perfect for all Blues and Rock players! Lots of smack and yet the typical sparkle of a 50's Stratocaster is never lost. Fantastic bell tone and all pickup positions sound beautifully balanced and harmonize perfectly. Here we have a really great Strat in terms of sound, look and feel, which was designed by a masterbuilder, but still comes to its future owner at a much lower teambuilt price. ...and the whole thing in top condition. You can't afford to miss out on this!
