1. Commission sale

We are happy to sell instruments on consignment by prior arrangement.
A commission sale includes professional photo documentation, videos, posting the guitar on the website with a precise, individual description, advertising via Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Reverb, sales processing and shipping.
In addition, the instruments listed on the website always have a very high Google ranking and therefore reach a very large audience.
The commission fees are 20% for instruments under EUR 5,000 and 15% for instruments over EUR 5,000. For very expensive instruments the commission fee is by arrangement.

We ask you to hand over the instruments in good condition, newly strung and in working order. If the instruments have to be cleaned/polished, restringed and adjusted by us, we charge a flat rate of EUR 70,-.

2. Opening hours

There are no fixed opening hours at Ten-Guitars. We arrange an individual test appointment with each of our customers. Please feel free to send appointment requests directly to web@ten-guitars.de, or call us to make an appointment.

3. Testing guitars

Instruments can also be tested with us. Simply arrange an individual test date with us. You will then have the opportunity to test your desired instrument in peace and quiet in our in-house studio. All classic amps are available.

4. Guitar shipping

We ship guitars several times a week, within Germany and Europe. The guitars are of course sent insured.

5. Purchase of guitars

We only buy guitars that meet the Ten Guitars requirements. Guitars are individually selected and tested by us. If the guitar meets these requirements, a purchase is possible by arrangement.

If you offer us an instrument by email, we ask you to attach detailed pictures, info about the condition (modifications, playing marks on the frets, originality ...).
In addition, your price idea is important so that we can decide in advance whether the purchase or trade-in makes sense for us.

6. Reserving guitars

Since we often receive many reservation requests per guitar, a reservation is only possible with a binding deposit. Otherwise "first come, first serve" applies.

7. Trade-in of guitars

When buying an instrument, there is the possibility to trade in a guitar, provided it meets the Ten Guitars requirements. The trade-in price depends on the instrument and is subject to prior agreement.

8. Cites Certificates

Basically a distinction is made between Cites I (Brazilian Rosewood) and Cites II (all other Rosewood species). To Cites I : We only sell guitars with Brazilian Rosewood that have a valid EU Cites I certificate. When buying guitars with Rio Rosewood, we will be happy to assist you in obtaining a Cites certificate by telephone.
Regarding Cites II : We are subject to the handwritten bookkeeping regarding Cites II. This means that every guitar with rosewood woods offered by us has a proven pre-acquisition for instruments before 2017, which is also shown on the sales invoice. For instruments built after 2017, we have proof of the EU customs import number of the respective instrument and the corresponding purchase invoice. When buying or trading in instruments built before 2017, we need a proof of purchase that confirms the purchase before 2017.
If no original invoice is available, we will send you a form for credibility with which you can confirm the purchase before 2017 in the EU. This must be confirmed in writing by a witness.
