This Studio Elite HD-P Malibu Beach Shmear with a solid body made of so-called Mamywo, a lightweight wood that lies between alder and ash, a maple neck and fingerboard, uniquely designed semi-gloss finish and “White Pearl” pickguard not only impresses with its special appearance, but also convinces across the board with top playability and killer sound. The medium “Standard 59” neck profile with its 10''-12'' compound radius plays so well that you won't want to put the guitar down even after hours of fretboard fretting. And in terms of sound the pickup combination of JTS5500 singlecoils on the neck and in the middle and a “Super” humbucker on the bridge delivers the best HSS sound: sawing Rock planks and crystal-clear Strat sounds - everything is possible here! The humbucker in particular delivers so much that you are immediately in seventh Rock heaven, and with the two singlecoils you can conjure up wonderful bluesy Clapton licks and pearly Mark Knopfler runs.
