Tom Anderson is always convincing across the board - the look, playability and sound of his instruments are always in the top league. His Drop Tops are S-style guitars, but like a Les Paul with a maple top. On this model, the top was glued onto an alder body. In order to reduce the weight, the body has been chambered, so that the guitar has a dream weight of just over 3 kg. As an eye-candy, a flamed binding and gold hardware were installed. The handling of the guitar is - as expected - simply fantastic. The instrument is light as a feather and the neck with its "even taper" profile plays superbly: grippy enough for all Strat lovers and slim enough for the wildest shredding orgies. Thanks to the Buzz-Feiten tuning system, the guitar intonates perfectly at every fretboard spot and the locking tuners make every string change happen in no time. Every professional demand on an electric guitar is fully met here. The two SC-1 single coils and the HC3+ humbucker provide pearly cleans and juicy leads. With the booster switch and the split circuit, you can get even more sound options than with the regular HSS circuit. A superstrat for every occasion, which we can offer you in mint condition.
