Taylor guitars have always been said to have a playability that is more commonly found on electric guitars. So why not combine the two? After all, similar concepts are also known from other manufacturers such as Gibson with the Chet Atkins or Godin. The T5 now manages this balancing act in a remarkable and well thought-out way. In addition to the typical appearance of a Taylor the great build quality and the usual high-quality woods this semi-hollow is characterized by some interesting specs. Especially as this T5 is a specimen of the very rare model with two pickups. The two lipstick humbuckers on the neck and bridge are paired here for the acoustic section with an active soundboard and a magnetic-acoustic body sensor for a very authentic reproduction of the acoustic sound. Five great sounds can be called up using the 5-way blade switch in the upper frame: Pos. 1: acoustic tone, Pos. 2: neck humbucker, Pos. 3: bridge humbucker, Pos. 4: neck and bridge parallel, Pos. 5: neck and bridge in series. The T5 C2 comes with a fantastically grained koa top and is super easy to play with its not too thick mahogany neck. It sits perfectly in the hand and invites you to enjoy hours of comfortable playing. In terms of sound, everything is possible here from 50s hollow-body sounds to fat, sawing Rock planks and amplified acoustic sounds. We are therefore delighted to be able to offer you this uniquely multi-faceted guitar in top condition.
