This Taylor PS18e features a Grand Auditorium body with an Adirondack spruce top and a hand-carved ebony armrest, which wonderfully combines aesthetic beauty with absolute playing comfort. Further exquisite details are the colorful mother-of-pearl inlays on the floral pattern of the ebony fingerboard as well as on the binding, rosette and headstock. The guitar also features Gotoh gold tuners, a bone bridge and nut and the proven Taylor ES2 pickup. However, the most striking feature is certainly the Macassar wood used to make the back, sides and the back of the head stock. On the one hand this gives the guitar a really classy look and on the other this type of wood certainly guarantees the best sound quality. And this acoustic guitar sounds really phenomenal - above-average highs, tight bass, no mud, great sustain, extremely present and transparent.
