With the 912ce 12-Fret, we have a prime example of such an instrument. The guitar comes with a shorter 24 7/8" scale length with a neck set at the 12th fret. The Grand Concert body with East Indian rosewood back and sides and Sitka spruce top provides a pearly yet tight and direct sound that should fit ideally into any mix. On the upper edge of the body there is an ergonomic shaping for the forearm, which you won't want to do without after just a few minutes of playing. The bridge, located lower in the body, further improves the response, making the guitar an ideal choice for all fingerpickers. The neck is made of mahogany with ebony fingerboard and plays extra-comfortable thanks to the slightly shorter scale length. Taylor's in-house Expression 2 system is installed as the pickup, so the 912ce is immediately ready for any live use.
