The Suhr Classic S Antique in Vintage Yellow is a guitar that features the iconic Stratocaster shape, but has been equipped with some modern improvements to cover every style of music and provide the optimal instrument for musicians from a wide range of musical genres. For this 2019 Classic S Antique some features of the well-known Classic Antique model have been adopted, such as the SSCII hum-cancelling system, nitro finish and stainless steel frets. This particular series has the new 60's vintage medium profile on the toned maple neck, as well as a rosewood fingerboard that ensures a very comfortable feel and best playability. The alder body with its very nice vintage yellow finish offers a lot of resonance and a wide range of tonal possibilities, from warm jazz sounds to hot rock everything is possible here. The new V63 single coils, whose magnets are made by the same company (with the same composition and manufacturing process) that produced the magnets for Fender in the early 60s, also contribute to this in particular. Matched by the SSV humbucker, tonally open with low compression, dynamic with fantastic vintage sound, warm, extremely clear and defined. Completing this fantastic overall package are a Gotoh 510 bridge, Suhr locking tuners with an 18:1 ratio for improved tuning stability and easier string changes and the subtle aging with numerous hairline cracks and a yellowed patina. All around a class player guitar with versatile sound that we can offer you in mint condition.
