With the guitars of Bill Rowe, the founder of Rock N Roll Relics, you can tell that he experienced the Rock music of the 70s and 80s live as a guitarist. It simply doesn't get more authentic! Billy played rhythm and slide guitar with Jetboy, one of the pioneers of the incredible scene that also spawned Guns'n'Roses and Poison. After decades as a touring musician and engineer Billy Rowe had rebuilt countless guitars and realized he had a lot to offer the world of guitar building. So he founded Rock N Roll Relics in 2005, driven by a passion to build nothing less than all-round amazing guitars that feature outstanding craftsmanship and the best materials. And this “Richards” also proves that. As a homage to the legendary guitarist of the Rolling Stones this Tele-Style was made in 2015. And not only does it look super authentic with its wonderfully weathered finish in "Butterscotch", a white-aged pickguard and characteristically distributed signs of aging, it also sounds like it. The fantastic "Hot Rod" pickups from pickup guru David Allen deliver the very best Tele sounds: on the bridge with great attack, never thin, nice and direct, wiry and fat. In the intermediate position the most beautiful bell tone, both clean and distorted, is a real treat. And wonderfully bluesy, differentiated and bell-like on the neck. Keef would really enjoy that, too! The "Vintage C" neck profile fits perfectly in the hand and combined with an ideal weight of just 3090 grams ensures the best playability. No wonder, since we've never had a Rock N Relics in our hands that didn't shine with top playability. ...and all of this at an absolute top price! The guitar comes in a shockproof Hiscox molded case and including the frets is in absolute top condition.
