Billy Rowe, founder of Rock N Roll Relics has spent his entire life thinking about how to make guitars sound, feel and play great. The San Francisco born guitarist grew up listening to the Classic Rock of the '70s and landed in the middle of the 1980s Rock explosion that first lit up Hollywood's Sunset Strip and then blew up speakers around the world. Billy played rhythm and slide guitar with Jetboy, one of the pioneers of the incredible scene that also spawned Guns'n'Roses and Poison. After decades as a touring musician and technician Billy Rowe had rebuilt countless guitars and realized he had a lot to offer the guitar building world. So, in 2005 he founded Rock N Roll Relics, driven by a passion to build nothing less than all-around amazing guitars that feature superb craftsmanship and the finest materials. This is evident in this Heartbreaker as well. Fantastic playability due to a super comfortable 59 profile neck with a 12'' radius. The lightweight guitar resonates at its best and the in-house "RNRR 59's" pickups transfer this top vibration behavior to the amp in the best possible way. Smacking, fat sound with great attack and enough bite and midrange. Billy's special love of relicing is also evident here. So, certainly this Heartbreaker has the look and feel of a guitar that has been worn down and also a bit battered by years of hard work "on the road". Smaller and larger quirks, abrasion in the characteristic places and a wonderful matte vintage patina adorn the guitar, whose look is especially thrilling due to the gorgeous grain and color of its phenomenal top.
