Here we have a super rare Rickenbacker 381 V69 from 2001 in its original black Jetglo finish. “Dual Toaster” singlecoils, ‘Ric-o-Sound’ inputs (mono and stereo) and the characteristic ‘Shark Fin’ inlays are the characteristic features that make the heart of every Rickenbacker fan beat faster. This semi-hollow, based on a design from 1957, is characterized by hand-carved, arched top and back, a maple body with checkerboard binding and double cutaways. To complete the look of this exquisite Rickenbacker it also features an enchanting crescent-shaped sound hole. The maple neck (neck width at nut: 41.4 mm, neck width at 12th fret: 49.05 mm) with its beautiful and haptically unique rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays is perfect to play and as expected it has the characteristic Rickenbacker tones. It is rich and warm with a full and crisp tone. John Lennon sends his regards, Beatles sound at its best! We are delighted to be able to offer you this rare gem apart from the inevitable slight signs of use on a deep black guitar that is almost 25 years old in top condition.
