We're pleased to bring you a rare and long-discontinued Rickenbacker model here: a 325 Capri equipped with the factory-installed Bigsby B5 vibrato. A short scale electric guitar, it captures the classic jangle that every Beatles fan knows - made possible by an original trio of the famous Toaster top singlecoils. Its maple neck has a round, medium C-profile that, together with the slim frets and short scale length of only 21", ensures the best playability even for small hands. The electronics include CTS pots and a three-way pickup selector switch that connects the middle pickup with neck and bridge pickups for a wide variety of tonal combinations, found in this form only on models with three pickups. A small corner is unfortunately missing from the two-stage gold pickguard, and you can also see from various other signs of use that this guitar has been played a lot and with pleasure. The frets also show minor signs of play, but have many more years ahead of them. The original pot knobs have been replaced with chrome Sparkle knobs and the cover on the bridge has been lost over the years, but this does not detract from the functionality. With the original Bigsby-B5, we have a useful vibrato system here that does its job without detuning with typical moderate use. The original Tolex hard case was replaced with a used Fender tweed case. We can offer you this top player, which finds its historical roots with John Lennon and revives the glorious Beatles era with its typical sound, at a top price!
