Since 1985, Paul Reed Smith guitars have stood for excellent sound, great looks, optimal playability and phenomenal quality. For a long time people mainly thought of electric guitars, but it is now well known that this also applies to acoustic guitars from the house of PRS. This is also confirmed by this Tonare Grand: body made of figured mahogany, top made of European spruce, neck made of Peruvian mahogany and fingerboard made of cocobolo wood with the typical bird inlays. Of course this perfect wood selection affects the sound of this great guitar: nice full, warm sound with enough highs and pleasing harmonics. Great response and all strings sound perfectly balanced. In addition, the PRS Acoustic pickup system is used here, which makes it ready for professional stage use at any time.
