The Silver Sky is the result of a close collaboration between Grammy-winning musician John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith and is based on years of development. The PRS Silver Sky combines Mayer and Smith's favorite elements of instruments from 1963 and 1964 with a view to modern references. The PRS Silver Sky offers the warmth and familiarity of an old guitar with the finesse of a brand new instrument. And all this here in the limited edition of 500 Nebula LTD. The special feature here is the so-called Flip Flop finish, where the guitar changes color completely depending on the angle of view. Didn't exactly make the photographing easy :-) Soundwise you get here the classic John Mayer Strat sounds in top form. The "Nebulas" are already sold out and have become real collector's items. In the USA the prices are rising monthly and some of them are already well over the 5.000,- limit. The guitar is unplayed and absolutely new.
