PRS McCarty 57-08 (2009)

If you want a PRS with a special look and perfect player characteristics in absolute top condition, this McCarty is the best possible deal! A wonderfully grained top in the most beautiful sunburst finish and a rosewood fingerboard with the characteristic bird inlays, that is unique to the touch and on which you can really whizz thanks to the super comfortable “Wide Fat” profile. But what is particularly noticeable here is the awesome sound of this Rock grenade! When played dry the two 57/08 humbuckers show the full sound potential of this PRS on the amp with above-average volume and resonance, as well as a great vibration behavior. Smacky Rock sounds with lots of mids, yet transparent and differentiated, if you leave out the distortion. Incredibly pushing sound that is made for screaming solos and biting riffs due to the tonal substance of this Rock axe. In addition, you can enjoy pearly singlecoil sounds at any time as soon as you split the humbuckers with the push/pull tone knob. This tonal power has to do with the fact that the 57/08 humbuckers used were wound with original wire from 1957. After surprisingly remaining stocks of this wire turned up Paul Reed Smith acquired the available stock and only used it in the production of the 57/08 pickups. The guitar sings, has wonderful overtones, the tone stands and stands. You really couldn't ask for more in terms of sound, playability and look!
