The McCarty 594 singlecut model combines authentic vintage tones and the familiar feel of classic instruments with the manufacturing precision of Paul Reed Smith's Core Series. Developed by the Private Stock team the design is named after its scale length of 24.594" and offers the perfect balance between playability and response. So we are happy to offer you here a particularly beautiful McCarty 594 Singlecut, which impresses with its gloss finish in unique Goldburst, the great top grain and a noble chrome-gold hardware. The mahogany neck with Pattern Vintage profile fits great in the hand, accommodates both classic and modern playing techniques and, in combination with the powerful neck foot, ensures long vibration phases and sustain-rich sounds. The two 58/15 LT humbuckers have a comparatively lower number of windings, which, due to the resulting lighter output, gives the pickups a much wider dynamic playing field and, especially in quieter settings, enormous vocal qualities. However, those who like to turn up the gain control further will be rewarded with a broad and juicy, yet defined sound with strong low mids. Both pickups can also be switched to coil split mode for clear and airy singlecoil sounds using the push/pull function of the tone pots. So here you can serve all music genres from Rock, Blues to Jazz in a first-class way! This perfectly broken-in top-of-the-line player has been played a lot over the last three years, which can be seen in some minor play marks and minor scratches (mainly on the back). Other than that however the guitar is in top condition and even the frets, which show only minimal signs of play, promise many more years of pure playing pleasure.
