This version of PRS' most popular guitar model was made exclusively for the German market, only 15 specimens of the Custom 24 "German Limited Edition" are available. These come with a top in "Dirty Flame Maple" and a Yellow Tiger finish. And only the finest tops from the "Wood Library," PRS's wood collection, carry the "10 Top" designation. The Curly Maple neck also impresses here with a more than distinct grain and the visual icing on the cake is the color-matched nickel/gold hardware. But of course it's not just the looks that impress here, but also as a player you get your money's worth. The neck has a "Pattern Thin" profile, which is made for fast fingers. The Gen-III tremolo and the Phase-III locking tuners meet the most professional demands - nothing goes out of tune here even with powerful tremolo use and string changes happen like in flight. The pickups used are the sought-after 58/15LT humbuckers. LT stands for "Low Turn", which means that the pickups have slightly fewer windings and thus less output. This gives the sound of the guitar a nice warm vintage touch. This in combination with the best feel simply results in a killer player guitar that you don't want to stop playing. Absolutely addictive! The guitar is in mint, nearly unplayed condition. A Private Stock level PRS at a great price!
