The Custom 24 dates back to the first guitar designs Paul Reed Smith made in the early days of his company. So when PRS launched its "Guitar of the Month" program in 2016 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Private Stock series, with one special model launched per month, it was clear that there had to be a special version of this guitar as well. Besides the striking emerald green color, which is called "Sage Glow Smoked Burst" in the spec sheet, it is the elaborate "Lotus Knot" fingerboard inlays made of mother of pearl that make this guitar unique. In addition, it was one of the first models to be equipped with the then brand new 58/15 humbuckers. Fantastic pickups, which simply deliver exactly what you usually only know from old PAF humbuckers: smacking attack, powerful mids and a tremendous three-dimensionality. Together with the PRS-typical playing comfort, we are dealing with an absolute killer version of the Custom 24. Only 20 pieces of this guitar were built and we can offer you the one with the number 1/20 emblazoned on it. Condition: Like new!
