This PRS Custom 24 from 1991 is from the transition period to 1992 in which the change from Brazilian Rosewood to Indian Rosewood took place. It already has Indian Rosewood and the previous owner made a few modifications that came in handy. The 5 way rotary switch was replaced with a 3 way switch. Since also the 'Sweet-Switch' was replaced by a Tone-Poti with split-function, quasi the sought-after 'McCarty-Circuit' with 6 quite different sounds is available. The pickups are HFS treble and vintage bass pickups that produce a super tone in combination with the guitar. The guitar sings at its finest and here you can really tell that it has been played for 30 years. You can see that on the back as well. The guitar has clear traces of playing on the back but is otherwise in good, well-kept condition. Simply a great player with best sound and player characteristics.
