The Custom 24 marked the beginning of the triumphant advance of PRS guitars in 1985. Since then the name Paul Reed Smith has stood for top quality and future-oriented innovation. This is also reflected in this magnificent guitar, which left Paul's workshops in 2005. It comes with a beautiful flamed maple top (10-top) in "McCarty Tobacco Sunburst", an elegant cream-colored binding, "Old School Bird" fingerboard inlays and the proven pickup combination of "HFS Treble" and "Vintage Bass", which are managed via a 3-way switch. The guitar also has a push/pull poti, which expands the sound variety even further with wonderfully sparkling singlecoil sounds. This Custom 24 offers great tonal clarity and a perfect treble and bass spectrum. Whether singing lead, heavy rhythm or open Blues sounds, this Custom 24 is at home everywhere in the very best manner. In addition, the guitar sits perfectly in the hand and on the body with the comfortable "Regular Carve" neck profile (corresponds to the "Wide Fat") and its contoured body, which makes fatigue-free playing for several hours a joyful necessity. ...and this guitar has been played often and with pleasure as can be seen from the one or other trace of use in the finish and minimal traces of play on the frets. Of course we have taken this into account in the price and would like to congratulate the future owner of this soundmighty top player.
