From 1985 on the newly founded guitar manufacturer PRS had great success with the Custom 24. In 1991, Paul Reed Smith released the PRS Dragon, a special series limited to about 100 pieces, the first Custom equipped with 22 frets. He not only shortened the neck by two frets, but also changed the position of the pickups by a few centimeters. Both changes are of course also noticeable in the sound characteristics, which are somewhat warmer compared to the Custom 24. This beautiful and powerful Custom 22 dates back to 1998 and its great acoustic sound is enhanced by the well-known PRS Dragon humbuckers. It comes with a bright orange 10-top and includes the familiar control concept with master tone, master volume and 5-way rotary switch. Especially the intermediate positions create versatile sounds. This makes it suitable for a very wide spectrum from Rock to Blues to Jazz. Powerful, warm, transparent humbucker sounds and glassy nasal and funky singlecoil sounds - this top player offers everything in top form! The Wide-Fat neck is full and comfortable in the hand, guarantees best playability across all positions of the fingerboard. We are happy to be able to offer you this worn-in player with a special look in a very good condition. Of course, given its age of 25 years the guitar has minor signs of use and the first five frets show minimal signs of play. We have taken these into account in our pricing, but since they are absolutely insignificant the future owner of this killer PRS is in for numerous years of playing with fun factor 1000!
