Expanding the PRS product range, which until 1998 consisted exclusively of solidbody models, to include a semi-acoustic was certainly the next logical step. It was also logical for PRS to break new ground and come up with its own designs. For example, a hollowbody was developed with a mahogany body and a maple top. The back and top are connected to each other via a sustain block in the area of the bridge and in this way extremely successfully reduce the susceptibility to feedback that otherwise occurs with this type of guitar. ...and the hollowbody in the 12-string version is of course extremely rare. We are therefore extremely pleased to be able to offer you this example with an enchanting gloss finish in “Vintage White” and fine gold-colored hardware. An ideal weight of just 2710 grams and the pleasant mahogany neck with a comfortable medium profile ensure the very best playability. Equipped with the already legendary 57/08 humbuckers this hollowbody is particularly suitable for warm Jazz and Blues sounds and also offers maximum versatility. And of course, the very first listen makes you want to check whether a chorus pedal has been added here. Beautifully direct at the bridge, soft and velvety at the neck. If you add a little delay and play with the volume poti, you can create fantastic, lush soundscapes. The PRS from 2015 is in top condition.
