If you are looking for a semi-acoustic with wow-factor, this Nik Huber Rietbergen is the right choice. The guitar comes in the special color "Petrol Blue" (Custom Order). Slightly reminiscent of an old Lake Placid Blue and looks just super stylish in conjunction with the matte hardware. In this model by Nik Huber, a mahogany body and neck meets a top made of European maple and a fingerboard made of Macassar ebony, which is also strikingly distinctly grained here. Even more important than the looks, however, are the player characteristics. And this is where the jaw really drops. First of all, we are dealing with a fabulously good playing comfort with the rather strong, but not too thick C-profile of the neck. Secondly, the Häussel 1959 humbucker on the bridge and the Häussel Vin humbucker on the neck deliver a PAF sound per excellence. The pickups are characterized exactly by the slight "nose" in the mids known from PAFs, which gives the sound an extra dose of assertiveness. Framed by airy highs and a crisp bass, you couldn't ask for a better semi-acoustic sound. Apart from a tiny quirk on the rib, we couldn't see any signs of use here either, and even the frets are still in top condition. In addition, there is a top weight of not even 3.3 kg. A world class semi-acoustic made in Germany!
