Nik Huber is not exactly known for modesty when it comes to the specs of his guitars. But the anniversary model of the Orca from 2008, limited to only 10 pieces, stands out even from his program. Visually, one highlight follows the next: The strikingly flamed Quilted Maple on front and back (!) in Charcoal Burst, the wooden pot knobs, the Schaller tuners with ebony wings, the elaborate floating Orcas as fingerboard inlays ... And it's not just visually: the guitar's body is made of one-piece mahogany with tone chambers, the neck is 50-year-old Brazilian rosewood with an ebony fingerboard, and Nik Huber's own Häussel humbuckers are used as pickups. Together with the Nik Huber-typical, flawless playability, you get an insanely good player here. The neck with its rather strong profile is more reminiscent of a '58 than a '59 LP and just feels great in the hand. Even dry, the guitar is amazingly loud and full, at the amp incredibly transparent and three-dimensional. Tonally, a whole world opens up here and it is incredibly fun to work with different playing dynamics, because the guitar picks up every nuance, no matter how small. What can I say ... a perfect instrument with absolute rarity value, which we can offer you in top condition!
