We are delighted to be able to offer you today an extremely rare specimen from the early years of the Nik Huber noble manufactory: a Dolphin II Custom in the rare tremolo version! Only the very best ingredients were good enough for Nik Huber for this instrument. Selected mahogany for the body and flamed maple for the exceptionally beautiful neck, an enchanting curly maple top and a fingerboard made of Indian rosewood. As usual, the workmanship and finish are beyond reproach and the top, painted in an attractive amber color with a fantastic depth effect, is simply fantastic. This Dolphin is equipped with two splitable humbuckers from PRS (neck: Vintage Bass, bridge: HFS Treble). Played clean, the guitar produces airy, resonant and woody sounds, but in crunch or overdrive mode it seems to completely forget its fine manners and shines with powerful pressure and razor-sharp, articulated, transparent sounds that don't lack the necessary snottiness. Thanks to the “Standard Dolphin” neck profile it is super comfortable to play and the Gotoh locking tuners and tremolo bridge do the rest to give this Dolphin the very best playing characteristics. Apart from slight signs of use the guitar comes in top condition and in its original case to its future owner, who will certainly enjoy this musical gem.
