Here we have the luxury version of the John Petrucci JP6 in the Family reserve version with piezo pickup. Family Reserve means here that this is a strictly limited series instrument, with finest tonewoods and exclusive finish, formerly reserved only for Ernie Ball family and friends! Beautiful top with ornate black binding and matching headstock. Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and stainless steel jumbo frets. Plays like itself with the flat neck shape and 15" radius. Schaller M-6 IND clamp machine heads with pearloid buttons. This model comes from the factory with the optional piezo bridge - with built-in piezo preamp including extra 2 band EQ and separate balance control! And here I was really surprised by the authentic acoustic sound. The pickups are a DiMarzio Crunch Lab on the bridge and a DiMarzio LiquiFire on the neck. Very best choice for fast, dynamic and differentiated rock and metal sounds. Absolute high end instrument in top condition!
