Today we are pleased to offer you serial number 33 from the limited edition of just 75 Ernie Ball Family Reserve Music Man StingRay guitars. This is a bolt-on guitar called "The Governor" with a body made of okoume wood, two specially wound Music Man humbuckers and an elegant silverburst finish. The guitar has a roasted maple neck with a dark ebony fingerboard and mother-of-pearl block inlays. The elegant overall package is rounded off by Schaller locking tuners and a Music Man tremolo bridge. Both visually and sonically this BFR model is absolute high-end, ... more is simply not possible! BFR stands for "Ball Family Reserve". Only the best woods and materials are used for such strictly limited instruments and special attention is paid to the coordination of look, playing characteristics and sound. And accordingly this "Governor" also impresses with its first-class playability. The neck with its modern 10'' fingerboard radius and 22 "High Profile Medium Width" stainless steel frets can be played super-fast and comfortably. An almost detune-free tremolo and Schaller locking tuners round off the overall package. Even without an amp the mixture of balanced frequency and fast response is convincing. Even amplified the "Governor" shows the warmth of a Les Paul, but lacks nothing in liveliness. Just the right mix for crunchy rhythm sounds and singing leads! This extremely rare guitar comes from collector's hand and is in mint condition.
