N.I.B. is the fourth song on Black Sabbath's legendary debut album and sets the sonic direction of this SG-style from the hands of Maybach masterbuilder Nick Page. This guitar, No.1 of only 2(!) specimens, expresses Nick's love for the Hardrock pioneers in a very special way by convincing with a maximum of authenticity, patina and retro sound. The aging is a masterpiece in every respect! Nick knows exactly how to authentically realize long-standing playing traces and has developed a skill here that only a few guitar builders have mastered to such perfection. When you open the custom case you're first convinced you're looking at a real vintage instrument. And it gets even better: a ripped Marshall and off you go! The humbuckers chosen by Nick come from the English manufacturer "Monty's" and are exactly tuned in terms of output to the so beloved 70s Hardrock sound. No modern high-gain monster, but just hot enough to blow "Paranoid" and "Iron Man" out of the speakers without lacking transparency. In the July/August issue of the guitar magazine "grand gtrs" (see pictures 22 and 23) equally experienced writer and guitarist Chris Arndt attests this awesome Albatroz a "brilliant classic Rock sound" and calls it "a highly exclusive relic instrument at the highest Custom Shop quality level". Its two-piece body is classically made of hand-selected mahogany, as is the neck, which has been glued in with a long tenon. Trapeze inlays made of mother-of-pearl were inlaid into the rosewood fingerboard, which, like the bone nut, are already nicely yellowed. In addition vintage Gotoh tuners were installed, which round off the harmonious picture with their amber-colored Tulip wings. And also the playability of this Maybach is at its best due to a dream weight of only 3095 grams and its super comfortable neck with Medium-C profile and 12'' radius. We are happy to be able to offer you this unique combination of authentic sound, killer look, top playability and highest rarity value in mint condition.
