With its 000 shape, the Martin OM-28 is a perfect all-rounder for those who like acoustic guitars with smaller bodies. Whether living room or studio, such a guitar brings everything you need for fingerpicking and fine strumming. Here we have a classy custom store version that differs from the standard model mainly in the choice of woods. Italian alpine spruce is used for the top here, the back and sides are made of cocobolo and the neck is classically rosewood with a deep black ebony fingerboard. In addition to the great look with the distinct body grain, this wood combination makes for an incredibly fine, silky and brilliant tone. Here, the trebles virtually pearl out of the sound hole - especially if you play a little more softly. If you play a little harder, the OM-28 CO also has enough midrange and bass for powerful rhythm work. Then there's the straightforward playability with the "Mod Low Oval/PA Taper" profile of the neck, which doesn't feel too thick, but very grippy. Simply a world class 000 to get addicted to!
