The J-40 series of instruments includes classic acoustics with a waisted jumbo body, whose back and sides are made of East Indian rosewood. The top is made of pure spruce and the guitar has a hand-crafted neck with a dove-tail joint. It produces a beautifully balanced tone with powerful response and projection that emphasizes the art of the singer-songwriter and session player. Equipped with gold tuners and Martin's most comfortable high-performance neck this rare Martin body size has a polished gloss finish and a jumbo tone that is setting it apart from the acoustic guitar crowd. Beautiful abalone inlays on the rosette and binding round off the attractive overall appearance. This J-40 also impresses with its top look and excellent playability.
