One of the very few Brazilian Rosewood (Riopalisander) HD-28 Martins, except for the old vintage models, which are available in Germany with official Cites. This reference HD 28 was "Guitar of the Month" in 1987 and back and sides of this guitar are made of solid Brazilian Rosewood. In addition, the guitar was hand-signed on the inside of the Sitka Spruce top by the developers and staff who created this work of art (This is what the SE stands for in the name ... Signature Edition). The guitar is in incredible mint condition. The great looks are completed by the style 42 Abalone Snowflake Pattern Inlays, the Ebony fingerboard, Tortoise pickguard, the Martin closed back tuners with Ebony wings and the classic Herringbone binding. The pleasant Medium V-Shape neck is almost identical to the neck of the Eric Clapton model and plays great with the 44.5mm nut width. Soundwise reference class! Although the guitar is almost unplayed, it develops a fantastic frequency spectrum. The typical shimmer of Brazilian Rosewood in the upper mids and trebles, very differentiated basses with a great presence that do not muddy. Suitable for fingerpicking as well as strumming. A real dream instrument, completely original in top condition. The neck is straight and the frets have almost no play marks. First choice for collectors and soundgourmets!
