For the 200th birthday of the company's founder Martin has come up with something very special: a limited Martin D-45 with very special specs in an edition of only 200 specimens. The guitar was designed by Chris Martin IV. The top is a "Highest Grade" Sitka spruce top. The sides and back are made of East Indian rosewood. The diamond inlays and beautiful Abalone inlays are especially tasteful here. An incredibly beautiful guitar. The neck profile used was the Modified-V shape profile. Not too thick, not too thin, just the golden middle and the V is rather subtly pronounced here. As a special highlight the guitar shows the signature of Christian F. Martin on the penultimate fret. Soundwise, we are dealing with the absolute upper class here. Very airy and balanced with a great frequency spectrum. Whether for fingerpicking or strumming, you won't want to put this guitar down. And on top of that we can offer you this D-45 with serial number 31 in top condition with only minimal signs of use. Here you have to be quick...
