For the 200th birthday, the company Martin has come up with something very special! A limited Martin D-45 with very special specs in an edition of only 200 pieces. The guitar was designed by Chris Martin IV. The top is a "Highest Grade" Sitka-Spruce top. Back and sides are made of East Indian Rosewood. Especially tasteful are the Diamond Inlays and the beautiful Abalone inlays. An incredibly beautiful guitar. The neck profile used is the Modified-V-Shape profile. Not too thick, not too thin, just the golden mean and the V is rather subtly pronounced here. As a special Highlite, the guitar has at the base of the neck still a golden on which the designation of this D-45 is engraved. Soundwise absolute upper class. Very airy and balanced with a great frequency spectrum. Whether for fingerpicking or strumming, this guitar you do not want to put out of the hand. And on top of that, this D-45 is in mint condition, as good as unplayed.
