This acoustic from C.F. Martin is certainly one of the most beautiful and elegant guitars we have ever seen. Inspired by the grace of the purple martin, one of the most attractive birds in North America, the Martin D-41 K has corresponding inlays on the fingerboard, bridge and pickguard. It also comes with back and sides made of enchanting, heavily flamed koa wood, a top made of Adirondack spruce treated with aging toner, abalone inlays on the binding and rosette, engraved, gold-colored tuner buttons and a deep dark ebony fingerboard. But it's not just the look that's first-class, the mahogany neck is also extremely comfortable to hold and play thanks to its "Modified Low Oval" profile. The sound is at the very highest level: tight and defined, yet warm and balanced in the lower frequencies, pleasant mids and sparkling highs. This is what a top dreadnought should sound like! Only 50 specimens of this dream guitar, signed by C.F. Martin IV himself, were made worldwide, which of course means that it also offers the very best value retention. As a further extra it comes with a leather-covered case in the same color in the style of the famous blue Martin hard-shell cases of the 70s. A really nice nod to the company's past! We are delighted to be able to offer you this gem in top condition.
