Martin 000-28 Custom Shop Italian Alpine Spruce (2019)

This 000-28 from the Martin Custom Shop is simply a masterpiece! Its design and dimensions correspond to the popular 000-28 from the standard series. However, this instrument was ordered by the German Martin sales department from the Custom Shop and as a special feature was provided with an excellent top made of lightly hazeled Italian Alpine spruce. ...and the resulting sound is simply amazing! Beautifully balanced and despite the smaller design wonderfully voluminous and orchestral with a warm note. But in contrast to the standard model this guitar sounds much finer and richer in overtones. The sound is a real joy and will enchant both flatpickers and fingerstylers. The look is also completely convincing as the top was not tinted, but only given a thin nitro coating. The back and sides are made of Indian rosewood and the neck has an extremely comfortable medium profile, which ensures the best playing comfort and great string action. Plus the great ebony fingerboard with "Diamonds and Squares Long with Regular Abalone" inlays. Not only is it beautiful, it also offers an excellent feel. Not to be forgotten are the faux tortois pickguard and the typical Herringbone decoration around the body, which add further visual accents. The guitar from 2019 is in mint condition, so we would like to congratulate the future owner on this harmonious overall package.
