We are extremely pleased to be able to offer you a Martin of a quality that even we do not often experience: a 2004 000 ECHF Bellezza Nera. Eric Clapton went on tour with such a "Beautiful Black" in 2003. It had been designed by himself in collaboration with Japanese musician and designer Hiroshi Fujiwara. A year later Martin launched a limited edition model of 476 pieces, based on the same design and fascinating with its top made of selected Italian alpine spruce, back and sides made of Indian rosewood, fingerboard made of ebony, beautiful snowflake inlays and a thin gloss finish in all-black. The black and white label inside the guitar bears the original signatures of C.F. Martin, Eric Clapton, Hiroshi Fujiwara and Dick Boak. The select mahogany medium neck offers a great feel with the distinct V-profile and can be played comfortably for hours. And it has already been played extensively! Therefore it is also perfectly swung-in, which is confirmed by its phenomenal sound. Excellent response, top resonance behavior, tight basses, assertive mids and silky, radiant highs - even if you are used to top class acoustic guitars, this sound takes the cake! Of course this left many small traces of play and use on the body and frets, as well as minor discoloration inside the case. But all this we have taken into account in the pricing. So, if you are looking for a collector-worthy acoustic guitar with unbelievable tone that you can also take out of the case without hesitation, you should not wait too long here!
