Knaggs Guitars was founded in 2009 by world-renowned designer and luthier Joe Knaggs and marketing expert Peter Wolf. Their aim is to carefully select the wood and materials for their guitars and to incorporate the latest technology in guitar making. An experienced team of skilled luthiers ensures that only the best instruments that meet the highest standards are made for players and guitar enthusiasts. With the exception of the “Artist Signature” models all guitars are named after Native American river names in North America. This includes the Servern, which was named after a river in the US state of Maryland. But it's not just the name that is special here, its special features are also brimming with exclusivity. The beautiful gloss finish in “Faded Green” alone makes this guitar stand out from the crowd. Only the most beautiful, distinctly grained maple wood was used for the top as well as phenomenally flamed rock maple for the neck and Macassar ebony for the fingerboard with elegant “Diamond” inlays. Gotoh locking tuners and Seymour Duncan “ATX-K” pickups were also used. These pickups were specially tuned for Knaggs and are more focused and centered than the standard pickups, a great feature! They realize the authentic singlecoil sound, the sparkle and the feeling that normally only pickups from old vintage Strats can offer. And the playing characteristics are also first-class here as the flatter medium neck profile allows you to whiz across the 22 Medium frets with extreme speed. All in all, a great and extremely exclusive guitar that combines a special and attractive look with the best playability and fantastic Strat tones.
