Delivered in a high-quality case and with a certificate of authenticity this gem comes with a one-piece mahogany body and a top made from the most beautiful bird's eye maple. The perfection down to the smallest detail can be seen here in the meticulously even division of the wood, so that the top is exactly "bookmatched". The gloss finish in Orange Amber invites you to dream, matching to this the maple neck reinforced with bubinga strips with the typical flat board profile, ebony fingerboard with "Tree of Life" inlays and jumbo frets: visually and haptically the very best! The headstock has a "matched" design which together with the golden hardware completes the Ibanez's highly refined appearance. As expected the "Edge Zero" vibrato system is detune-free and cuts a perfect figure even with really hard dive bombs. And the sound also leaves nothing to be desired. Even the basic acoustic sound has an extremely balanced frequency response with an emphasis on the mid and treble range and a fast response. The DiMarzio pickups prove to be perfect for transmitting this basic sound to the amp. With a high output they offer a phenomenal variety of sounds, from the warm vintage Blues sounds of the "Air Classic" on the neck to the snappy, wiry and biting combinations with the "Red Velvet" singlecoil in the middle to the razor-sharp riff sounds of the "PAF36 Anniversary" on the bridge, leaving nothing to be desired.
