Made famous by Tom Petty, David Gilmour and Stevie Ray Vaughan, who defined the 12-string sound from the 1960s onwards. One of the most popular 12-string models is certainly the Guild F-412, an absolute classic. Like its six-string sister, the F-50, the F-412 also has a jumbo body and the typical Guild arched back design, which gives it exceptional volume. It owes its characteristic articulation, clarity and balance to the densely grained Sitka spruce top and back and sides made from selected North American maple. Its smooth playability, exceptional build quality and first-class specs have made it one of the most sought-after twelve-string guitars in the world. It immediately enchants with its voluminous, full sound! Extremely well-balanced and ideal for recording. The fact that the guitar has a curved back and no back bracing ensures the very best sound development. Shimmering highs, singing mids and a warm, focused bass response are the tonal characteristics with which this 12-string can inspire.
