There is certainly not much to say about Tom Petty. Whether as a solo artist or with the Heartbreakers, he was always a guarantor for catchy hit songs and numerous world successes. The original Wildflower guitar was a one-off, built for Tom in the 90s. And now, in honour of Tom Petty, Gibson is releasing the Gibson Sj-200 Tom Petty Wildflower in a strictly limited edition of 100 pieces. It is equipped with a AAA-grade Sitka spruce top, quilted maple back and sides, all typical SJ-200 decorations and a LR-Baggs VTC pickup. In addition, there is the personalised Wildflower logo on the headstock, the imprint "You belong among the Wildflowers" on the back of the headstock and of course the characteristic pickguard. This model is characterised above all by an above-average beautiful grain of the back and sides. Absolutely top class in terms of sound. Perfect for fingerpicking as well as strumming. Super balanced with a great tone and vibration behaviour. The guitar is in mint condition!
