The look of this extremely rare 64 SG in Pelham Blue is simply stunning, especially due to the fantastic light-aging of the Murphy Lab. Lightly aged Murphy Lab guitars are very hard to come by and differ significantly from the ultralight aged ones in the intensity of the aging. And here Murphy's staff really did a great job. You have the feeling to have a real old SG in your hands. And what the appearance promises, the sound keeps. The guitar vibrates extremely well and is extremely resonant. At the amp it really smacks and is enormously open and dynamic. That's exactly how you want an SG without compromise! Great tone and of course outstanding for rhythm riffs. Whether clean, bluesy distorted or high gain, this SG delivers every sound in top form! The comfortable medium neck fits perfectly in the hand and provides hours of fatigue-free playing pleasure.
