This '58 Les Paul Standard comes from the so-called limited edition "Painted Over" series. The goal of this series was to create the look of the real old Les Pauls that were painted over in the 50s and 60s. To make this even more authentic, this series was also aged. Simply a stunning look! So this is how you have to imagine it when someone repainted an original '58 gold top back in the day black and then gaged it really nice. Pleasant, grippy 58 neck that feels great in the hand. Not quite as fat as some 58 necks, minimally thicker than a 59 neck. The frets are in top condition. The Pickups used here are Alnico III custom bucker. Together with the great resonance of the guitar you get the ultimate Rock n'Roll Paula. Nice open sound, no mud, differentiated and with a super response. Optimal weight with 3945 grams. The guitar is in top condition and the original price was 6.300,. Euro.
