Among Gibson's numerous Slash Signature models, the Rosso Corsa stands out for its rich "Racing Red" look alone. The guitar was released in 2013 in a small series by Gibson USA, but has custom shop-worthy specs like a AAA flametop and nitro paint. It also doesn't have to hide from its sisters from the custom department when it comes to playing comfort: The neck plays simply fabulous with its 60s slim taper profile and medium jumbo frets, and thanks to the high-quality TonePros hardware, you don't have to worry about intonation and sustain either. It gets its typical Slash character from the two Seymour Duncan Slash Signature humbuckers with Alnico II magnets. These are of course reminiscent of the old PAFs, but come with rich output and an extra dose of midrange and bite. This makes them the ideal rock pickups, which get a firework of attack and harmonics out of any Marshall. But also the singing GnR lead sounds can be reproduced 1:1 on the neck. If you like the slash sound and you like a Paula with a unique look, you should not think twice here! The guitar comes to you with some minor signs of use on the body, neck and headstock. The straplocks have been replaced, but the originals are included.
