There are only 50 pieces of the Slash 58 First Standard in the “Aged & Signed” version. And these 50 specimens have become some of the most sought-after guitars on the guitar market. Of course the most sought-after and highly traded ones are also so-called single digits, i.e. with a single-digit serial number. This fact makes it all the more incredible that today we are in the excellent position of being able to offer you this specimen with serial number 002(!). This is the lowest available serial number as serial number 001 was never available on the market. And as we have often said, the replicas of Slash's First Standard are among the best that have ever left the Gibson Custom Shop. Whether as a player or an investment, this guitar is an absolute Gibson highlight. It is the exact replica of the '58 Les Paul Standard owned by Saul Hudson aka Slash. Even the Gibson Custom Shop says that the aging and fidelity to the original of this guitar was the most elaborate project they have ever undertaken. The aging, applied by master craftsman Tom Murphy himself, is truly unparalleled. Countless hairline cracks, lots of traces of playing and super authentic.
