Gibson Les Paul Joe Bonamassa "Skinnerburst" Aged (2014)

Only 100 specimens were built in the aged version of the "Skinnerburst"! It is one of the highlights of Gibson's "Inspired by" series, has of course long been sold out and is virtually unobtainable on the second-hand market. And we still only know of a few Les Pauls that reproduce the real old Burst feeling as faithfully as the 2014 replica of Joe Bonamassa's 1959 Paula. But this "Skinnerburst" also has a unique selling point that gives it an almost inimitable uniqueness. The previous owner had it personally signed by Joe Bonamassa, which was of course documented, but understandably we are not allowed to use the corresponding pictures commercially here. This means that the future owner receives an "Aged & Signed" for an "Aged" price. It doesn't get any better than this! The top comes in a beautiful Lemon Burst with a super authentic grain, just as you would expect from a real old one - with a clear flame, but not too obtrusive. The top aging by Tom Murphy rounds off the perfect vintage look. But the real fun starts when you pick up the guitar. Thanks to the ideal 59 profile with rounded shoulders the neck feels as comfortable as if you were slipping into an old sneaker. Even without an amp you could strum away for hours thanks to the airy and direct sound with great overtones and singing tone development. Juicy Les Paul sounds with plenty of depth, dynamics, three-dimensionality and a lively basic character. Plus the ideal weight of 3990 grams - you really do get the perfect complete package here!
