Gibson Les Paul CC#1 Gary Moore Greeny VOS (2011)

The most sought-after and best-known Collector's Choice is certainly the CC#1 "Greeny". The aged version is now extremely rare and has prices in excess of EUR 35,000. So we are extremely pleased to be able to offer you one of these pieces of jewelry again in the VOS version. Only 300 specimens were made of this guitar, which replicates the Les Paul, which was owned by Gary Moore and Peter Green and can still be seen on the biggest stages with Kirk Hammett. And the "Greeny" at hand is a particularly beautiful piece with a fantastically grained top and great book matching. Very close to the original it shows a super authentic Lemon Burst with a great VOS patina. The very best playability is guaranteed by the 59-Medium neck profile, which feels great in the hand. And there probably isn't much more to say about the characteristic sound. Like all the "Greenys" we've had in our hands so far this guitar also vibrates at its best and the sun really shines on the amp, including the characteristic "out of phase" sound. The original was made particularly famous by Gary Moore during his “Still Got the Blues” period. And this is exactly the sound that immediately comes to mind when you play this Les Paul. Incredibly direct and open. You can work excellently with the sound. The neck pickup sings brilliantly, an absolute pleasure for the ears! VOS “Greenys” are difficult to obtain and therefore naturally retain their value very well. The fact that you can save a significant amount of money compared to the aged version should put a grin on every collector's face. Apart from minimal signs of wear the guitar, which interestingly was originally sold by Ishibashi Music in Tokyo, comes including the frets to its future owner in top condition.
