"Mommy's Little Monster", "Prison Bound", "Story of my Life" - these are the melodies that come to mind as soon as you see the iconic guitar of Mike Ness, the singer, producer and guitarist of the Punk band Social Distortion. In 2021 the Gibson Custom Shop has released an exact replica of his 1976 Les Paul Deluxe in a limited edition of just 100 specimens. We are pleased to offer you serial number #032 of this special series. In terms of aging, the Custom Shop has done a great job: every tiny hairline crack, every quirk or sign of wear and even all the original stickers have been faithfully reproduced. The neck, which gives the impression that it has been played for decades, has the typical '76 profile (Mike Ness Custom profile) and is therefore rather slimmer. The two-piece sandwich body and the three-piece neck are also typical of the '76 Goldtops. In addition to the unmistakable look this Les Paul also impresses with the best sound and playing characteristics. With a dream weight of 3880 grams the Norlin replica already vibrates exceptionally well when played dry. But as soon as this gem is plugged into the amp the P90 pickups deliver direct, merciless Rock sounds of the very best. Super fast response and enough mids for pure Rock'n'Roll. But also wonderfully balanced, crisp sounds that can really handle anything. Whether it's bright, clean chords, singing solos on the neck pickup or rhythm riffs with twang - we definitely didn't find anything that wouldn't sound fantastic here. This very special Paula with considerable rarity value comes to its future owner virtually unplayed and in mint condition.
