Wow! This Paula is the absolute killer! 1959 Les Paul in the most beautiful Lemon Burst, True Historic with all the appropriate specs such as selected woods and Hide Glue and aged by master Tom Murphy himself. There are countless hairline cracks, abrasions and minor imperfections adorning the super authentic Burst finish and of course Tom Murphy's initials below the poti knobs are not to be missed. The top of this guitar is tremendously grained from all angles and the book matching is near perfect. You really don't see anything like this very often! Add to that a lightweight of only 3790 grams, which in combination with the super comfortable 59-Medium neck with rounded shoulders ensures the very best playing feel. The guitar vibrates already dry enormously well, which is transmitted by the two Custombuckers to the amp in the best possible way. Fat, assertive, differentiated, extremely open and with a slight Strat-part as you know it from the real old Paulas. More is simply not possible! Therefore the guitar was of course played with pleasure in the last years. Nevertheless, it is in top condition including the frets except for minimal signs of use. Since Tom Murphy will retire in the near future there will be hardly any more guitars that he has personally aged, the few copies that are still on the road, of course, have considerable rarity and collector's value. So we are especially pleased to be able to offer you this fantastic specimen today.
