The Gibson Les Pauls 1959 True Historic Murphy Aged were only available for a short time and they enjoy a super reputation not without reason. Meanwhile prices up to over 10.000,- Euro are called for these rare pieces. What I like very much about this model is that the Finish is more like a 59 Les Paul, which is not too faded. The red part is much stronger than on the well known Lemonbursts. This is about how a 1959 Les Paul might have left the factory. The aging has been done by Mr. Murphy in a very authentic way, with the typical hairline cracks and dings and dongs. In this case, a bit more subtle compared to the Heavy Relic models. With 3830 grams, this Les Paul already vibrates dry of the very finest. At the amp shows what is in this Paula. Super response, beautifully differentiated with a great, smacking tone. Exactly how you want a top Paula to sound. The guitar is as good as new.
