Gibson Les Paul 59 Tom Murphy Painted & Aged True Historic (2017)

This strictly limited 1959 Les Paul represents the absolute upper league when it comes to authentic Bursts: on the one hand, it has True Historic specs. On the other hand, it was painted and aged by Tom Murphy himself. Countless hairline cracks, abrasions and minor imperfections adorn the super authentic Burst finish. And of course Tom Murphy's initials below the potentiometer knobs are not to be missed. This Paula fascinates with its fantastic top grain, a unique color gradient and with excellent bookmatching. Of course, as a True Historic it has also been treated with all the appropriate specs such as select woods, hide glue, super thin nitro lacquer, etc. This phenomenal Les Paul also comes with a perfect medium neck profile. Not too thick and not too thin, it feels rich in the hand and promises hours of fatigue-free playing experience. And the sound of this Les Paul also breaks all superlatives for me. The guitar resonates with its 3500 grams(!) already dry extremely well, which is transmitted by the two Custombuckern optimally to the amp. Dream tone with lots of character and a fantastic response. Fat, assertive, differentiated sound with just the right amount of midrange! A real Rock Paula, which is made for screaming solos and biting riffs. So besides its obvious rarity value and incredible look you also get a soundmighty top player that you can't get enough of and don't want to put down. It's hardly surprising that the guitar has also been played a bit in the last six years, but this only shows in minimal signs of use. You simply have to see and play this dream Paula yourself to fully appreciate all of its advantages. What an amazing instrument, for which we would like to congratulate the future owner already now.
